Procurement Specialist at Futurum Fastigheter i Örebro AB
- with a strong interest in construction and service procurement
Our current Procurement Specialist has chosen to leave the company for other assignments outside the organization, which is why we are now looking for her successor.
Are you someone who has previously procured contracts within building, civil engineering, and installation works, and wish to work in a company with long-term property ownership responsibility? Then you might be the right person for us.
Do you also want to contribute to a good school environment for the children and young people of Örebro? Then the role of Procurement Specialist at Futurum could be your best and next step in your career!
About the role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be the hub in the network when we aim to make the best deals to achieve our vision – environments worthy of our children. The role involves driving and executing procurements together with our other competent organization. The focus is on construction and service procurements according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU). Your role will be to lead this work from start to finish through close collaboration with the current requirements group, thereby ensuring that current laws are followed.
At Futurum, we always strive to work with continuous improvements and ongoing development of existing evaluation models and working routines.
You will primarily work with
- Executing procurements such as framework agreements regarding, among other things, consulting services and contracts, as well as object procurements for larger investment projects.
- Monitoring contracts and contract compliance.
- Serving as support for the organization throughout the contract period.
- Conducting re-tenders.
- Supporting internal teams in preparing request for proposals (RFP) documents.
- Evaluating incoming bids, preparing decision documents, and contracts.
- Informing and training internally about rules and application within your area of expertise.
- Developing purchasing strategies.
Our most important asset is our employees, and therefore we actively work to create a balanced work climate. There is a strong sense of community with close leadership where employees thrive and have room to grow.
Is this you?
To be successful in the role, we believe you have several years of experience in purchasing or procurement of consultants and contractors, preferably within the construction and property industry. You have good knowledge of AB, ABT, and ABK as well as very good knowledge of LOU and LUF.
You likely have an academic degree or post-secondary education in a field relevant to this assignment. This could be in law, economics, or engineering, or alternatively other education that, combined with your work experience, is considered equivalent. We want you to be proficient in expressing yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Other important qualities for the role of Procurement Specialist here are that you are meticulous and curious. You have a great interest and understanding of how operations and the purchasing process interact to achieve the best results.
We want you to be structured, able to work both independently and with others, and to lead colleagues towards a goal. You are analytical and driven, and enjoy working at a high pace with personal responsibility.
The role also requires that you adapt easily to new situations, that you can prioritize and sometimes reprioritize your work well, and that you complete your assignments within the specified timeframe.
We use the TendSign procurement tool, so prior experience with this is a plus.
You may handle sensitive information, and therefore a background check will be conducted.
