What you can expect from the role

You will be an important part of the store's management team with overall responsibility for driving and developing our departments for checkout, customer service, and café. You are responsible for planning and monitoring the operations, including scheduling, P&L responsibility, and quality work. Your focus is on creating efficient flows, a good work environment, and a top-class service experience.

You lead your employees through your presence in daily operations and ensure they are well-trained in routines for customer handling, claims management, and cash handling. In the café, you are responsible for food hygiene and compliance with other regulations. You work closely with the store manager in the common task of moving the store forward.

The position is a longer-term staff vacancy where working hours vary and include evenings and weekends. The weekly working time is 40 hours.

What we expect of you

We are looking for you who have documented leadership experience within retail. Perhaps you have previously had a role as a store manager in a smaller store, where you had overall responsibility for both personnel and operations. Or perhaps you have worked in a leading position with responsibility for personnel, sales, or operations, without being ultimately responsible, but feel ready to take the next step in your development. A prerequisite is that you are confident in your leadership, accustomed to making decisions, and have a strong drive to develop both people and routines.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with customer service, checkout, or café/restaurant, but the most important thing is that you have a good understanding of how to create effective teams and high service quality.

As a person, you are proactive, solution-focused, and structured. You thrive in a varied environment, are not afraid to jump in where needed, and value order and cleanliness around you. You lead by being present, engaged, and by setting a good example.
