Your daily routine – strengthening Sweden's total defense
Region East's operations are conducted in Stockholm and Gotland counties. This position is located in the Northern Archipelago Operations District, covering the geographical area of Stockholm's northern archipelago. Your workplace will be in Rävsnäs, Norrtälje Municipality. Currently, there are seven maintenance technicians based in the district. You will work independently and together with your colleagues on the operation and maintenance of our property portfolio. This primarily involves supervision and maintenance, self-inspections of facilities, as well as corrective and planned maintenance of buildings, technical installations, and associated infrastructure such as heating, electricity, water/sewage, and air handling systems, as well as control, regulation, and monitoring systems. The role includes frequent contact with customers and suppliers. External maintenance tasks such as grass mowing may occur. Travel, primarily within the district, is a natural part of the job, as are travel within the region and the country due to our nationwide operations. On-call duty will be included in the position.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Several years of experience in supervision and maintenance from industry or public administration.
- Experience with SBA (Building Safety Management) and facility responsibility for fire alarms.
- Certification in hot work.
- Approved final grades from upper secondary school.
- Good administrative skills and computer literacy as a user of support systems.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good physical fitness, as we work over large areas and often in challenging terrain and environments.
- Class B driver's license.
The following qualifications are meritorious:
- Certificate as a ship's officer class 8.
- Certificates for chainsaw and brush cutter.
- Boiler operator training.
- Class BE or C driver's license.
- Experience with backup power.
- Experience with BVKF (Fire and Rescue Services).

The position is a permanent employment, although a probationary period may apply. As a permanent employee, you will be assigned to wartime duties. The place of employment is Rävsnäs. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted prior to employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
