Job Responsibilities

As an Operations Planner, you, together with surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, urologists, anesthesiologists, and the operating department, are responsible for planning the surgical schedule. You play a major and important role in ensuring that we have a clear surgical schedule to adhere to. The position includes rotation to 24/7 operations.

Your main responsibilities include, among other things:

• Ensuring the patient is optimized prior to their surgery.
• Maintaining contact with the patient before the operation.
• Collaborating closely with other operations planners in the county.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are flexible, stress-resistant, and have good organizational and collaborative skills. You have the ability to handle many parallel tasks simultaneously. Your genuine interest in the patient's well-being is of utmost importance. You work independently, structured, and see the big picture in the surgical flow. The ability to give patients clear instructions prior to treatment is crucial.

We expect you to participate actively in operational development, take personal responsibility, and together with your colleagues, work towards our goals and contribute to a pleasant work environment. Personal suitability is given great weight.

You must:

• Be a registered nurse.
• Be proficient in expressing yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious:

It is meritorious if you have previous experience from surgical operations, familiarity with the systems Cosmic and/or Provisio, experience in reception work with patient booking, and previous experience in operations planning. High computer proficiency is required as the computer will be your primary tool.

Employment Terms

Type of employment: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement.
A six-month probationary period applies.
