Our small clinic is located in the picturesque town of Strömsund in northern Jämtland County. You are likely currently working as a dental hygienist or have recently graduated, and you see this position as an opportunity to improve your quality of life. Nature is right at your doorstep, offering fishing, boating, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, mushroom and berry picking, and more. You can also play golf just 5 minutes from central Strömsund on a very nice 9-hole course. Next to the course is a campsite with three heated pools. Two excellent gravel tennis courts are located right in the center of town. In the summer, the community comes alive during the "Dundermarknaden" festival with artists, amusement rides, and much more. If you want to do more, you can travel to Östersund, about an hour away, or Åre, two hours away. Life in Strömsund is simple and easy. The people are friendly and helpful. There is a strong sense of community, even among those who do not know each other. It is also a very safe place, free from gang crime, shootings, or other troubles.
