Description of duties

You teach in the school's grades 3–5 in half-class groups in collaboration with our woodcraft teacher. You are part of a work team consisting of the school's other practical-aesthetic teachers. At Lindbacken, you have the opportunity to make a difference for our students by contributing your competence, knowledge, and engagement. With the student at the center, you work to ensure the school reaches its goals. You plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical work according to the curriculum and other regulatory documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification in textile craft for the ages of grades 3–5. You have previous experience teaching craft. As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled even in stressful situations. You maintain a realistic perspective and focus on what is important for teaching and student safety. You collaborate well with students, colleagues, and guardians and treat others in a listening and flexible manner.

You communicate clearly and constructively and resolve conflicts constructively. In your role as a teacher, you create engagement and participation. You motivate students and give them the prerequisites to reach common goals. You coordinate the work in the group and become a natural reference point that students can trust. You plan, organize, and prioritize teaching in a structured way. You set clear timeframes, follow up, and ensure that students move forward in their development.
