Affärsgymnasiet in Uppsala is looking for an inspiring upper secondary teacher in Physical Education and Health to strengthen our team and offer our students a challenging and inspiring education. The position is a full-time temporary assignment for one academic year.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has solid subject knowledge and a developed didactic ability within the subject area, helping students overcome critical learning points in an inspiring way.
• Is engaged with the role of health and sports in society and communicates this to students.
• Views collaboration with the surrounding community as a natural and integrated part of teaching.
• Keeps up to date with the latest within your subject area and wants to teach in a practical and playful manner.
• Creates inspiring and adapted teaching through pedagogy that both challenges and develops students.
• Sees it as natural to build trusting relationships with both students and colleagues.
• Plans, documents, and conducts teaching in accordance with the steering documents of the upper secondary school.

Qualifications:

You have a teaching degree and teaching certification, as well as solid subject competence in Physical Education and Health.
