Do you want to help make everyday life work for both colleagues and patients? Here you will have an important role where your ability to create structure, plan ahead, and handle changes makes a real difference in an operation built on collaboration, care, and engagement.
Your Workplace
Women's Health is a proud HBTQI-certified unit where we jointly provide both outpatient and inpatient care within obstetrics and gynecology. The operation is characterized by close collaboration and a holistic perspective, where employees often work across several units.
Ward 14 and the Postnatal Care Unit are co-located. Ward 14 covers gynecology/medicine and is a smaller unit with 12 care beds. Here, patients with gynecological conditions, cancer diseases, and internal medicine diagnoses are cared for. On the Postnatal Care Unit, families stay after childbirth, with a focus on breastfeeding and parental support.
We have close collaboration with the maternity ward, the neonatal unit, the gynecological oncology clinic, and the medical clinic. Together, we work to offer safe, secure, and person-centered care, where every patient and employee is met with respect and inclusion.
Your Responsibilities
Here you are offered varied work with administrative and service-oriented tasks in an engaged work group where we collaborate closely and support each other in daily life. You are given the opportunity to influence and develop working methods within staffing and scheduling. We work in Tessa as our scheduling and staffing system and have a common focus on safe, secure, and person-centered care.
We are looking for an employee with extended administrative responsibility for scheduling, staffing, and reception for our two co-located departments. In the role, you plan schedules, are responsible for ongoing staffing and short-term planning, and work in our payroll and scheduling systems. Administrative tasks and reception services are included. You have ongoing dialogue with managers and employees regarding staffing needs.
You are a key person who contributes to stable conditions, good treatment, and a sustainable work environment.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who have experience in scheduling and staffing, preferably within healthcare. You are accustomed to working in scheduling programs and have a good ability to handle sick leave and quickly adapt to acute changes in operations. You have good administrative skills and thrive in a role with several parallel tasks.
To succeed in the role, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks, while also having a strategic ability and being able to see the whole picture in staffing planning. You work systematically and have good analytical skills, which allows you to identify needs, solve problems, and make well-founded decisions.
As we are keen to find the right person for the assignment, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
