We are now looking for a Project Manager within the electricity grid in Lidköping. Here, you drive both smaller and very extensive projects, from early ideas to commissioned facilities, together with colleagues who are experts in their respective fields.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK

As a Project Manager within the electricity grid, you lead and drive projects ranging from substation and line projects to more extensive projects where several technical areas collaborate. You work closely with both internal specialists and external actors and play a key role in creating robust and sustainable solutions for the future electricity supply.

You are responsible for the entire project journey, from early development, technical documentation, and procurement to implementation, delivery, and handover to operations. You quickly gain an overview, produce the right documentation, and translate technical requirements into clear and actionable assignments. Through site visits and own measurements, you ensure quality in both technology and execution. You keep the project group together, distribute tasks, and drive the work forward, even when the pace is high. In this role, you act as the hub in the dialogue with the client, customer, and technical specialists.

Examples of duties:

• Drive projects within distribution substations and network facilities from early development to commissioned operation.
• Produce technical documentation, create overviews, and translate complex technical requirements into clear assignments.
• Plan, monitor, and ensure the quality of schedules, budgets, risks, and deliveries.
• Conduct site visits and own measurements to ensure quality in both technology and execution.
• Lead and coordinate the project group, distribute tasks, and act as the hub in the dialogue with clients, customers, and technical specialists.

The position involves emergency placement within Lidköping Miljö och Teknik if you are not already placed higher. A background check will be conducted.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for someone who is technically knowledgeable, confident in the project management role, and accustomed to working in complex project environments. You thrive when you can combine structure, technology, and collaboration, and you are driven by delivering projects with high quality and long-term sustainability. As a person, you are empathetic, communicative, and solution-oriented, and you gladly take responsibility for both the direction of the projects and for good collaboration within the project group.

You have a technical education at the university level, or equivalent experience, preferably within electrical power, energy, automation, plant, or process. You have documented experience of project management in distribution substations or similar technically advanced environments and are used to planning your own daily work, driving several work streams in parallel, and delivering projects where technology, time, and quality are crucial.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a technical education at the university level or equivalent experience.
• experience of project management in distribution substations or other technically complex projects.
• a background from electricity distribution, transmission, industry, electricity production, infrastructure, or similar technical environment.
• very good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• a valid B driver's license.

Meritorious is experience of project management within the electricity grid up to 130 kV, procurement according to AB04/ABT06, and roles with client or plant responsibility. Background in preparation or operations is also valuable, as is knowledge of transformers and switchgear, control systems, and electricity production such as wind, hydro, or solar power.
