We are currently looking for an experienced and self-reliant surveyor for permanent employment. This is a direct recruitment to one of our most popular clients in the surveying and construction industry in Stockholm.

Role Description: Surveyor – Infrastructure and Civil Engineering

As a surveyor with us, you will play a central role in the project lifecycle. Your work serves as the link between project concept and reality, acting as the hub between the site manager and the workforce. With your aptitude for practical solutions, positive attitude, and problem-solving drive, you will become a key person in the projects you drive from pre-planning, through production, to project completion.

Main responsibilities include:

• Reviewing drawings and technical documentation prior to project start.
• Continuous technical surveying support during the production phase.
• Control surveying and control calculations.
• Responsibility for quantity regulation, which is a crucial part of the project's success.
• Close collaboration with the site manager and the estimating department regarding economic matters and project agreements.

Examples of current projects:

• Östermalmstorg: The square is being renovated into a vibrant, safe, and accessible urban plaza that preserves its historical values. A fine-planning project where we are under the spotlight, and where communication with the client, residents, businesses, and visitors is just as important as production results.
• Separatorn 1: A new office building with an innovation center being built by Skanska on behalf of Fabege. A park landscape will be installed on the roof of the innovation center – a challenge at dizzying heights that requires good coordination and efficient logistics.
• Bromma Handelsplats: Expansion and trimming measures to facilitate traffic flow. Work includes, among other things, laying two new traffic lanes and relocating existing pedestrian crossings in a busy area.

Marbit is an entrepreneurial and family-owned civil engineering company with short decision-making paths, where order and clarity, as well as growth and development, are prioritized. Our operations consist of 90% civil engineering projects, with assignments both as contracts and framework agreements, primarily for public clients. Precisio Mätkonsult is a subsidiary of Marbit that supports the main business and rents out resources on a consulting basis to external customers within civil engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

Formal requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a surveyor in civil engineering.
• Experience with quantity regulation, preferably from AMA/MER/RA Construction standards.
• Good knowledge of SBG Geo or Topocad. AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of instruments from Leica or Trimble.
• Valid B-driver's license.
• Good proficiency in Swedish (required) and English.

Advantageous is experience and good knowledge in:

• Production surveying for infrastructure, civil engineering, water/sewage, electricity, and fine planning.
• Production surveying for building construction.
• Scanning and/or drone surveying as well as data processing.
• Responsibility for quantity regulation of contracts valued at 10–100 million SEK.
• Quantity lists with technical descriptions, AMA Construction and MER Construction standards for quantity regulation.
• Relevant technical education (Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent).

Other requirements and wishes:

• Good computer skills.
• Residing in the Stockholm area.
