The position of Study and Career Guidance Counselor (SYV) is a part-time role at Affärsgymnasiet Uppsala. We are looking for an engaged SYV who wants to contribute to providing our students with the best possible guidance, both in a narrow and broad sense.

At Affärsgymnasiet in Uppsala, we strive to give our students the best possible support in their educational choices, career opportunities, and future labor market prospects. To achieve this, we are now looking for a Study and Career Guidance Counselor who is passionate about contributing to the students' development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent knowledge of the national programs: the Economics Program, the Social Sciences Program, and the Sales and Service Program.
• Can provide guidance at both an individual and class level to stimulate students' interests and curiosity regarding future studies and career choices.
• Has the ability to work independently and in teams, and can build networks with representatives from the business community and the public sector.
• Is communicative and motivating in interactions with students and teachers.
• Has a strong drive to, in collaboration with the school's student health team and management, develop and shape our study and career guidance program.
• Works based on official guidelines and is well-versed in the laws and documents provided by the Swedish National Agency for Education.
• You hold a degree in Study and Career Guidance. Experience in previous work with career and study guidance is an advantage.
