Are you an experienced leader within production and food, looking for an exciting assignment where you will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to develop a growing business? Then we are looking for you for this assignment with one of our clients in Nyköping!

About the Role

  • Location: Nyköping

  • Working hours: Daytime (Monday-Friday)

  • Employment type: Full-time

  • Start date: As agreed

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operations of the factory, including production, planning, maintenance, and logistics

  • Personnel responsibility for the production organization, including team leaders and shift work

  • Ensure high quality, food safety, and efficient working methods (HACCP, BRC/IFS, self-control)

  • Work with productivity, cost control, and improvements in production

  • Plan future capacity and development as the business grows

  • Close collaboration with other departments such as purchasing, product development, and sales

  • Create structure, routines, and systems that hold when volumes increase

About You

We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced leader with a background in production, preferably within the food industry. You have experience in running operations, developing teams, and creating structure in a growing organization.

You are analytical, solution-oriented, and thrive on combining strategic work with being close to daily operations. You are accustomed to working with improvement work, quality, and efficiency, and have a strong commitment to developing both people and processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading production in food or similar industry

  • Experience in personnel responsibility and leading teams in shift operations

  • Experience in production development and efficiency work

  • Good understanding of food safety, certifications, and regulatory requirements

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits

  • Experience in frozen food production or bakery/dough production

  • Experience with MRP/ERP implementation

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies
