Your responsibilities – processing of financial support and development of knowledge support

In the role of case officer for the Energy Preparedness Grant, you will belong to the Preparedness Unit and thereby contribute to the agency's broader work to strengthen the energy system for civil defense. The Energy Preparedness Grant combines the processing of financial support with the development of information measures and knowledge-raising actions.

You will work with the follow-up and development of financial support and knowledge initiatives to promote measures that strengthen energy preparedness. The work includes, among other things, investigation, implementation, and management of developed routines and working methods. The work with financial support also includes efficient case processing and the payment of investment grants.

Within the knowledge-support work, you contribute your competence to the development of information measures and other competence- and knowledge-raising activities. The work includes, among other things, quality assurance and collecting experiences and translating them into relevant knowledge support.

Depending on your experience, the tasks will be adjusted between case processing and knowledge-support work. The position involves close collaboration with both internal and external actors.

Qualifications

You have a post-secondary education in areas that we assess as relevant for the role, for example within energy, natural sciences, engineering, or other education assessed as relevant for the position. We are looking for you who have an interest in energy preparedness or energy issues and have gained experience in the field, for example through studies, internships, or work experience.

You also have experience in analyzing and structuring economic and other relevant information related to financial support, including follow-up. You have a good ability to draw well-founded conclusions and suggest measures based on conducted analyses.

You communicate very well in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and have good knowledge of modern IT systems and programs. This is a security-classified position, and Swedish citizenship is required.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge or experience in the following areas:

• Several years of relevant work experience with energy issues
• Experience working with knowledge support within the energy sector
• Knowledge of reserve power, district heating plants, or liquid fuels
• Work experience in processing economic support at a government agency, municipality, or other public activity
• Experience working at a government agency
• Studied courses in security and preparedness

About us

The Preparedness Unit works on developing, supporting, directing, and following up the agency's internal work with crisis preparedness and war preparations. The unit also works to promote the capabilities and supply security of external actors through the Energy Preparedness Grant. The unit is part of the Energy Preparedness Division.

Good to know

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month initial probationary period. This position is placed in a security class, which means security investigation and register control according to regulations in the Security Protection Act will be conducted. In the case of permanent employment, war placement at the agency may become relevant.
