Job Description

In your role as a care assistant with us, you work to provide care, support, and services based on the individual's needs, wishes, and conditions. You contribute to creating security, participation, and a meaningful everyday life for the people you meet. The work includes personal care and support in daily life. You encourage and facilitate social interaction and activities that promote health, well-being, and independence.

The role includes being a contact person, drawing up and following up implementation plans, as well as social documentation according to current legislation and the organization's routines. You also work with medication management after delegation and collaborate with colleagues and other professional groups such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure good and safe care.

We work from a salutogenic and rehabilitative approach where the individual's resources and abilities are in focus. The activity is carried out all year round, and working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working within care and social services and who meets people with respect, engagement, and consideration. You are responsible, flexible, and have a good ability to work both independently and together with others. Since the work requires collaboration and interaction, it is important that you have good communication skills in both speech and writing, are sensitive to the individual's needs, and contribute to a positive work climate.

To thrive in the role, you need to be able to plan and prioritize your work, take initiative, and handle changes in a solution-oriented manner.

It is meritorious if you are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) and have experience within elderly care. Experience with work involving contact persons, implementation plans, BPSD work, and activity systems such as Lifecare is also considered meritorious.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. For employment as a nursing assistant, proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) is required.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) must be presented prior to employment.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: According to agreement.
