The Employment Unit has the coordinating responsibility for the municipality's employment measures and is organized under the Child and Education Committee. Through guidance, motivation, and activation efforts, in collaboration with authorities and the business community, we work to ensure that every individual has the prerequisites for self-sufficiency.

Our internal areas of operation include the carpentry unit, the nature conservation group, the Recycling Center, the carpentry workshop, and soft production.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who can organize, lead, distribute, instruct, and actively participate in the work within our operations, with the best interests of our participants in focus. Social documentation is done in the operation system AMEA. The job responsibilities include contact with internal and external partners. The role also includes responsibility for workplace safety routines and risk assessments of the working environment for the individuals within your area of responsibility. The work requires physical mobility.

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who have education at a minimum of upper secondary level, for example, nursing with a focus on disability or child and youth work with a focus on social work. It is meritorious if you have post-secondary education, for example, as a social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

You need to have practical experience within one or more of our areas of operation. You are a creative person with the ability to translate our assignments into structured and clear work tasks for our participants. It is important that you can create engagement and meet people based on their individual prerequisites. You need to have experience in leading groups and facilitating group activities, as well as experience in social work and/or team leadership.

You have good collaboration skills and are communicative both verbally and in writing. Clear and direct communication is crucial in this role, as is the ability to create participation within the work group, while also being able to make decisions and delegate when necessary.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. Tests may be part of the selection process. A valid extract from the police criminal record, as well as a valid ID document, must be presented before employment.

We Offer

Permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-09-21 or as agreed. The position will be filled subject to necessary decisions being made.
