Vistaholms Parent Cooperative is now looking for an engaged and self-reliant cleaner for our operations.

We run a preschool, preschool class, after-school center, and primary school in a nature-oriented environment where the children's safety, well-being, and learning are at the center. We are now looking for you who want to contribute to a clean, welcoming, and well-functioning environment for our children, students, and employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a cleaner, you are responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and well-being in the premises of the operations. The work includes daily cleaning, periodic cleaning, and deep cleaning, as well as simpler building and premises maintenance tasks.

The position includes among other things:

• Daily cleaning of classrooms, preschool premises, after-school centers, staff rooms, and common areas.
• Cleaning of hygiene rooms and kitchen areas.
• Vacuuming, wet mopping, and cleaning of floors and furniture, as well as dusting.
• Refilling of soap, paper towels, and other consumables.
• Watering and care of plants.
• Tidying up and contributing to a pleasant and welcoming environment.
• Planning and conducting deep cleaning during holidays and non-operational periods.
• Window cleaning, floor care, washing of textiles, and other periodic cleaning efforts.
• Responsibility for ensuring the premises maintain a high standard regarding hygiene, order, and well-being.
• Other simpler premises maintenance tasks that naturally belong to the position.

The position involves physically demanding tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, floor care, cleaning of skirting boards and other surfaces, as well as lifting and moving cleaning equipment. You therefore need the physical capacity to perform work that is at times physically strenuous.

The position involves great freedom under responsibility, and we are therefore looking for a person who can independently plan, prioritize, and carry out tasks based on the needs of the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are responsible, thorough, and service-oriented.

You have good physical fitness as the position involves daily tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, floor care, lifting and moving cleaning equipment, and working in different positions. You enjoy practical work and appreciate being on the move for most of the workday.

Since the work involves great freedom under responsibility, you need to be self-reliant and able to plan, prioritize, and make your own decisions within your area of responsibility.

We would like you to:

• Have experience in cleaning or similar work.
• Be structured and have a good sense of order.
• Take initiative and see what needs to be done.
• Be flexible and solution-oriented.
• Enjoy working independently.
• Have good teamwork skills and a positive attitude.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

About the Position

• Scope: 75%
• Employment type: Permanent employment with an initial probationary period as agreed.
• Start date: As agreed.
• Working hours: Flexible working hours.

Most of the work is preferably performed later in the day when the operations have ended and the premises are available for cleaning. Exact working hours are planned in dialogue with the employer.

Vistaholms Parent Cooperative applies collective agreements and offers salary as agreed, as well as pension benefits and other benefits according to the collective agreement.

Upon employment, a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required according to the School Act regulations for work in schools and preschools.
