Sorundahallarna specializes in various parts of Martin & Servera's offerings. We consist of Grönsakshallen (Vegetable Hall), Fiskhallen (Fish Hall), and Kötthallen (Meat Hall), and are driven by a vision of sustainable transportation with care for people, animals, and the environment.

The role involves personnel responsibility for drivers as well as overall operational responsibility.

As a Transport Leader in Stockholm, you, together with three transport planners, a transport coordinator, and the Transport Manager, are responsible for ensuring that we execute our plans, stay within budget, and deliver the top-tier service that Grönsakshallen is known for. You have over 30 experienced drivers at your disposal, whose mission is to do everything possible to ensure the customer is happy when our delivery arrives.

Our operations run 24/7, 365 days a year. Together with the transport planners and the Transport Manager, you are responsible for staffing, route and schedule planning, and ensuring that our drivers are happy, healthy, and have the right conditions to achieve our goal – the highest service level in the industry.

You support the drivers in handling situations that arise during the day and lead the operations by being present and visible. Naturally, you occasionally join one of our drivers on a delivery run to stay updated on how the work functions in practice.

You also understand the importance of good collaboration with other departments to achieve high customer satisfaction, and therefore have daily contact with Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period. It is a full-time position of 40 hours per week with varying working hours. One weekend per month is included in the schedule. As operations run seven days a week, some flexibility is required.

Your Profile

• A Category C driver's license is required. A digital driver card and a valid Certificate of Professional Competence are meritorious. Swedish qualifications are required.
• Several years of experience in leadership.
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations affecting the transport industry.
• Experience working as a driver. Experience distributing food products, especially fruits and vegetables, is meritorious.
• Experience in transport leadership. You enjoy working with people and have the ability to engage and motivate others.
• Good multitasking skills and experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A sense of structure and order, combined with a strong service focus.
• You are attentive and pick up on needs from both customers and employees to continuously improve service and the workday.
• Good local knowledge of Stockholm and the surrounding area.
