JFC NORDEN (Sweden) AB is a leading food distributor that imports high-quality foods from Japan and other parts of Asia. We distribute to shops, restaurants, and retailers throughout Sweden and Finland. JFC is a global company with its European headquarters in Düsseldorf, and we are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the well-known Japanese company Kikkoman Corporation.

As the business grows, we are now looking for an engaged and flexible distribution driver to join our team.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

In the role of distribution driver with us, you play a key part in ensuring our products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition. The work is physical and requires you to be comfortable with manual order picking and lifting heavy loads at the warehouse. Days are varied, and the job assumes that you enjoy working both in the warehouse and on the road. Your working hours are 07:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday. Your main duties include:

• Loading and unloading goods.
• Order picking: Our distribution drivers are involved in picking and preparing their own orders at the warehouse before delivery.
• Safe and efficient distribution of goods to shops and restaurants.
• Customer service upon delivery, where you act as the face of the company.
• Daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle.
• Please note: As the company grows, long-distance driving with overnight stays in the cab may become relevant in the future.

Your Profile

To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are an independent, meticulous, and confident driver with a strong safety mindset. Since the role also involves order picking, it is important that you are flexible, unpretentious, and enjoy physically active work. You are service-oriented and have good teamwork skills, as you have frequent contact with both customers and colleagues.

Requirements for the position:

• Valid B & C driver's license.
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Valid driver card for the digital tachograph.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and/or English to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Merits:

• Forklift license (e.g., A, B) and experience with warehouse work.
• Previous experience in food distribution.
• A genuine interest in Japan and its food culture is a big plus!

Other Information:

• Employment type: Permanent position (full-time) starting with a 6-month probation period.
• Location: Skogås, Stockholm (and on the road).
• Start date: As agreed.
