Alwaid AB is an established company in food import and distribution. The company delivers a wide range of food products to customers throughout Sweden. The operations are characterized by quality, responsibility, and a clear focus on efficient logistics and satisfied customers. Alwaid AB is headquartered in the Stockholm area and works daily with deliveries to customers across Stockholm County.

We are currently looking for a C-Driver as the business continues to grow and the need for reliable deliveries increases. You will become an important part of the daily operations and the face of the company towards our customers.

You will work closely with warehouse staff, order managers, and sales personnel. The work is performed both independently and in collaboration with colleagues on site.

About the Role

As a C-Driver at Alwaid AB, you are responsible for delivering goods to the company's customers in a safe and professional manner. The role combines driving duties with responsibilities in planning, loading, and customer contact.

As a C-Driver, you will:

• Start your day at the office in Botkyrka and prepare for the working day.
• Review the work plan the day before and plan the route and load to avoid overweight issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure the correct goods, delivery notes, and work orders are included.
• Load the truck with prepared pallets and use automatic forklifts when necessary.
• Drive deliveries to customers within Stockholm County.
• Unload pallets at customer sites or assist with unloading.
• Return with empty pallets and verify quantities via delivery notes.
• Keep the truck clean, tidy, and in good condition, and order service and inspections as needed.

Responsibilities

You have personal responsibility for ensuring deliveries are made on time and safely. You are responsible for following traffic regulations, planning driving according to road conditions, and handling situations involving heavy work, such as slippery surfaces or snowy environments at customer sites. You also ensure that the vehicle is fueled, inspected, and serviced so that it is always ready for work. The role requires you to handle periods of high workload.

Desired Profile

• C Driver's License
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (YKB)
• At least 3 years of experience as a driver
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and understood

We are looking for someone who:

• Is responsible; as you work independently and represent the company to customers.
• Is solution-oriented; as unexpected situations may arise during the workday.
• Is communicative; as you have daily contact with customers, warehouse staff, and order managers.
• Can handle a high workload; as the pace can be high at times.

Meritorious if you:

• Have knowledge of English.
• Speak Arabic, Ukrainian, or Russian.

Other Information

• Start: According to agreement
• Working Hours: Approximately 06:00–15:00, subject to traffic conditions
• Weekend Work: May occur as needed

• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probation period
