About the Role

This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for permanent hire. In this role, you will initially be employed by Bravura, and it is explicitly stated that DP World intends to offer you employment with them in the long term.

About the Company

DP World is a global logistics player offering end-to-end solutions within supply chain, transport, and freight forwarding. The company has a strong international presence and is currently building up its freight forwarding operations in Sweden.

You will become part of a small team where the business is under development. This means you will work closely with decision-makers with great opportunities to influence how the work is carried out. Here, a global network is combined with a local, more entrepreneurial daily routine.

Responsibilities

As a Freight Operator, you work operationally with air freight and are responsible for the entire flow from the first booking to delivery and follow-up. You play a central role in ensuring that transports work in practice, while maintaining contact with both customers and suppliers.

You handle quotations, bookings, transport documentation, and follow up on deliveries on an ongoing basis. The role also requires you to be solution-oriented, especially in situations where processes or systems are not fully established. You are expected to contribute to developing working methods and improving processes as the business grows.

Examples of tasks:

• Coordinate air freight (import, export, and cross-trade) from booking to delivery
• Prepare quotations and book capacity with airlines and agents
• Ensure correct documentation (AWB, customs documents, etc.)
• Follow up on deliveries and communicate status to the customer
• Handle deviations and contribute to process improvement

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Relevant post-secondary education in logistics or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in the logistics industry
• Meritorious with experience working in TMS or similar systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

To thrive in this role, you need to be self-reliant in your operational work and used to taking responsibility for your cases from start to finish. You work in a structured manner but are flexible in how you solve problems when conditions change.

You are comfortable making decisions in daily work and have a clear focus on finding solutions that work in practice. As a person, you are also communicative and have an easy time building relationships both internally and externally.
