Job Responsibilities
As a substitute in Health and Care, you work with providing support, service, and nursing to individuals who have been granted services according to the Social Services Act. You also perform tasks under the Health and Medical Services Act after delegation.
Together with colleagues and other professional groups, you work to create safety, well-being, and a meaningful everyday life for the users, always focusing on the individual's needs and conditions.
We are looking for you who
Have a genuine interest in people and enjoy helping others in their daily lives. You are responsible, flexible, and adapt easily to different situations and workplaces. The work involves many meetings with people, which requires you to be empathetic, attentive, and have a good manner of interaction. You enjoy collaborating with others while also having the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions when the situation requires it. Even during periods of high workload, you maintain your calm and act safely and professionally. You treat colleagues, users, and relatives with respect and contribute to a positive work environment. Personal suitability will be given great weight.
Qualifications
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- You can work varying hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Merits
It is an advantage if you have education in health and care or are currently studying in the field. Previous experience working in health and care is also seen as an advantage. If you have a B-driving license, it is particularly valuable if you are interested in working in home care.
About the Staffing Unit
The Staffing Unit is responsible for short-term substitute positions within the Social Services Administration and the Child and Education Administration. We offer opportunities to work in areas such as Health and Care, functional support, preschool, school, and catering.
As a substitute, you are booked based on the needs of the operations. The work involves great variation as you get the opportunity to work at several different workplaces around the municipality.
The workplaces are located both in central Säffle and in the countryside. A driver's license and access to a car are therefore an advantage.
Introduction and Training
To work within the Social Services Administration, you must undergo training in medication management and nursing, as well as pass a final test for medical delegation. The training is organized by us before you start working.
Recruitment Process
We work with continuous selection and invite relevant candidates for interviews. Interviews are conducted on-site.
During the interview, you will have the opportunity to talk about your experience, motivation, and what you can contribute to the operation. References will be requested for candidates who move forward in the process.
