Senior Planner – Major Industrial Projects

We are looking for a Senior Planner to join our project team to drive planning and schedule control in some of the Nordics' most complex industrial and energy projects. This role is perfect for you if you have extensive experience in project planning within large EPC/EPCM projects and thrive in international, multidisciplinary project environments.

You will play a key role in developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules, as well as ensuring efficient coordination between project management, contractors, and technical disciplines.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans for a major green steel project
• Establish WBS structures, activity coding, and reporting routines according to project requirements
• Perform progress measurement and earned value tracking
• Conduct CPM analyses, delay, and schedule risk analyses
• Identify deviations from the baseline and develop recovery and mitigation plans
• Coordinate planning activities between contractors and construction disciplines
• Participate in progress meetings with project management, client, and contractors
• Ensure quality in reporting, forecasting, and status monitoring
• Support project management with decision-making data related to schedules, resources, and cost impact
• Contribute to the development of planning work in production and installation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in project planning
• 15+ years of experience with Primavera P6
• Experience from large EPC/EPCM projects
• Documented experience with complex construction schedules
• Experience with:
• Integrated/Master schedules
• Baseline schedules
• Progress measurement
• Schedule forecasting
• Delay analysis
• Recovery planning
• Good understanding of engineering, procurement, construction production, installation, and commissioning
• Fluent English in both spoken and written form
• Experience from billion-krone projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience from green steel, process industry, refineries, chemical industry, life science, or biotech projects
• Experience with large industrial investments (>1 billion SEK)
• Experience with EPCM contracts and international project organizations
• Education in project management, construction management, or engineering
• Certifications such as PMI, AACE, Primavera P6, CPM/Scheduling
