About the Role
The Property Department within the Community Development Administration is a key player in creating the physical prerequisites for the municipality's administrations to deliver their welfare services. The municipality's property portfolio, amounting to approximately 200,000 m², includes preschools, schools, special housing, culture and leisure facilities, commercial premises, and residential apartments. Danderyd Municipality is facing several major investment projects. Simultaneously, the Property Department is driving development work in long-term maintenance planning for our portfolio.
Therefore, the Property Department is undergoing an important transition where we are strengthening our organization, and we are now looking for a Technical and Energy Coordinator for our property operations. The placement will be at our operations office near Enebyberg Square.

Responsibilities
The role of Technical and Energy Coordinator involves overall planning and development of technical operations, preventive maintenance, regulatory requirements, energy monitoring, and maintenance. You will be overall responsible for leading technical operation projects and our energy monitoring system within property operations. Emergency work may occur in the form of an on-call duty.
Responsibilities include, for example:
- Responsible for energy monitoring, reporting, and program management.
- Plan/manage operations and ensure preventive maintenance of technical systems to guarantee performance and functionality.
- Act as an expert in building technical matters, lead operation meetings, and provide training as needed.
- Coordinate with property managers and others within the operations unit, and be responsible for compiling and reporting maintenance needs related to technical installations.
- In collaboration within the unit, inventory, investigate, and assess the status/performance of facilities and report current and future maintenance needs.
- Prepare decision-making materials and profitability calculations regarding investments in building installations.
- Initiate, lead, and follow up on investigations and smaller projects.
- Develop operations by establishing and following up on operation plans, instructions, etc.
Qualifications and Merits
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of several years' work within advanced technical operations.
- Has documented high knowledge level in control/regulation and heat pumps.
- Has documented experience with energy monitoring in larger property portfolios.
- Is accustomed to working digitally with Office 365 as a work tool and has an aptitude for learning different types of systems.
- Has experience working with case management.
- Has good ability to communicate both orally and in writing in Swedish, given that the work involves many internal and external contacts.
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Project management.
- Design of technical projects in commercial properties.
- Higher-level SCADA systems and good understanding of complex energy systems.
