We are now looking for new colleagues for our day activities at Intagsgatan and Omtanken

We are looking for you who want to help us become even better at person-centered care and support. Your main placement will be at one of the facilities, but you need to be able to work at all day activities when needed. We offer day activities for people with dementia and have three facilities in Eskilstuna and one in Torshälla. During the autumn, a building is being renovated where the three facilities in Eskilstuna will move, and there will be an additional ward added.

At our facility, guests participate in activities that strengthen health and create social community. We work according to BPSD and are inspired by the FINGER model. Most of our guests are elderly and live at home with support from home care services or relatives. A testament to the high quality of our work is that our guests and their relatives are very satisfied with our activities.

DUTIES

As a nursing assistant (undersköterska), you provide personal care and support in daily life, for example with hygiene and other daily activities. Together with your colleagues, you create a safe, meaningful, and active day for our guests. You are the contact person and work with the creation, follow-up, and revision of implementation plans and interaction plans. Documentation is done continuously in Viva, and you use Appva for signing, following the facility's routines and guidelines. You also participate in the work with the quality register BPSD and documentation. There is also an opportunity to have an ombuds role.

As a specialist nursing assistant, you use your competence in daily work and contribute to developing the facility. You supervise students, trainees, and colleagues and provide support in questions regarding, for example, interaction. In this role, you guide and support colleagues in assessments and interactions with people with dementia. By sharing your knowledge and experience, you contribute to developing approaches that start from the individual's needs. The goal is to strengthen and preserve the individual's own abilities as much as possible. You support contact personnel and other colleagues and participate in the work with implementation plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

For both positions, we are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and are passionate about making a difference. If you are applying for the specialist nursing assistant position, we want you to have completed that education. You are flexible and have a good attitude towards interaction. It is important that you enjoy collaborating and contributing to a good atmosphere in the work group. Experience in elderly care, preferably work with dementia, is meritorious. You are willing to accept delegation and have the ability to use digital tools for documentation.

In this recruitment, we use a language test for everyone we invite to an interview. We will also ask you to show an extract from the police criminal record before employment.
