At Nytida, you will meet people with different needs for support and care. This involves supporting adults with psychosocial issues.

We are looking for a careful and reliable person for the caretaker position, 80-100% daytime.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of the building and outdoor environment
• Simple repairs and maintenance
• Vehicle responsibility
• Responsibility for the outdoor group and common areas

About Thamstorp

Nytida Thamstorp is beautifully located in Grästorp Municipality. Here there are 30 short-term places for people from 18 years old without an upper age limit. Our residents have psychiatric issues and often comorbidity with different types of addiction.

At Nytida Thamstorp, we work in teams consisting of housing support workers and nurses. The central part of the work with residents is the implementation plan, which we formulate together with the residents based on the mandate from the placing municipality. We have a holistic view of the individual and start from both strengths and resources as well as challenges and needs. The focus is on creating and establishing sustainable routines in daily life regarding food, medication, exercise, circadian rhythm, and meaningful activities.

You who apply have experience of property maintenance, support in practical moments and activities, and have experience of similar work. You are handy, responsible, and solution-oriented. Education in pedagogy is preferred. You are careful, responsible, and self-starting with good cooperation skills. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
