RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for an engaged specialist assistant nurse with a focus on dementia, who wants to contribute to creating security, structure, and high quality for both users and colleagues. It is important that you have a particular interest in the administrative work that ensures quality as well as follow-up of the work on the unit.
This is a new role at Djupängen where you have the opportunity to help develop it in dialogue with the unit manager. You will become an important support to the unit managers and a key person in the operational quality work. You will have a coordinating assignment where you contribute to strengthening the team's working methods and development. The role is shared with time spent both in daily care work and in various administrative and quality-related tasks.
Your role includes:
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues in daily work by:
- Planning and coordinating the daily and weekly work on the unit based on working methods, implementation plans, and ensuring checklists are used and followed up on.
- In consultation with the unit manager, you will have overall responsibility for following up and working to ensure that routines are current and followed, conducting risk assessments, and drawing up action plans.
- Together with the contact person, draw up and follow up activity plans for care recipients.
- Support and follow up on work with quality registers: BPSD, Senior Alert, and SweDem.
- Planning of introduction and follow-up of new employees.
- Contribute to good communication and collaboration between different professions (HSL and Rehab).
Scope: Full-time
Working hours: Straight week, 38.25 hours/week
Start date: Fixed-term contract for 6 months from November 2026, with possible extension.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
- Are a trained assistant nurse with specialist education in dementia.
- Have a strong interest in documentation, follow-up, and various digital systems.
- Have a strong interest in person-centered care and improvement work.
- Thrive in a role with both care-related work and administrative tasks.
- Have good ability to structure, coordinate, and communicate.
- Are confident in mentoring colleagues and contributing to the team's development.
- Have a good attitude and can see different perspectives.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
