Job Description

Are you technically interested and want to work in a modern production environment where quality and precision are in focus? Then this might be the job for you! We are currently recruiting a Press Brake Operator for our client, just outside Jönköping. This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be employed directly by our client. We handle the entire recruitment process, but your employment will be with the company.

As a Press Brake Operator, you will work with programming and operating press brakes for the manufacturing of sheet metal parts. You are responsible for ensuring high production quality and that work is performed according to drawings and specifications. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in production and suits you if you thrive in a practical and varied work environment.

The work involves:

• Programming and setting up the press brake
• Bending sheet metal according to drawings
• Quality control to ensure parts meet customer requirements
• Machine rigging and changeovers
• Simple maintenance and service of machines
• Actively contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, we believe you are a responsible and solution-oriented person with a technical interest and a love for working with precision. You work independently but also collaborate easily with others.

We would like you to have:

• Education in workshop, industry, or technology, or equivalent work experience
• Experience working as a press brake operator or similar manufacturing work (meritorious but not required)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience rigging machines and setting programs
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
