Job Description

Do you want to help people you meet live a dignified life and feel well-being? Do you want to work in a personal and varied environment? We are now looking for new colleagues for our night shift team in Lessebo Municipality. Night duty at units other than the night shift team may occur. Your employment may include night shifts throughout Lessebo Municipality.

As an assistant nurse in the night shift team, you work closely with people and provide support in each person's daily life. You perform care and support work for people in their own homes. As an assistant nurse, you base your work on the elderly's individual conditions, needs, and wishes. Interventions are granted based on social assistance decisions and can vary from personal care and hygiene, supervision, to certain healthcare tasks, as well as good collaboration with home healthcare services. As a night assistant nurse, you work independently but also together with your colleagues during your shifts.

All social documentation is done digitally in our business system, Viva. The job duties include carrying out planned interventions, responding to safety alarms, performing delegated nursing tasks (HSL), documenting, and communicating with other units in the municipality.

Working hours are during the night, both weekdays and weekends. Your form of employment is hourly, with the possibility of being introduced to day and evening shifts if interested.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse, and experience in elderly care is an advantage. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and are computer literate. A B-class driver's license is required. You must also be able to pass the medication training that forms the basis for the delegation of nursing tasks.

You will be part of a team where your ability to collaborate is just as important as working independently. We are looking for you who have a welcoming attitude and approach. You have the ability to create security and calm even in stressful situations.
