Carpenter / Technical Property Manager – Do you want to combine craftsmanship with responsibility?

About Fenix

Fenix is a dedicated and personally oriented property manager for housing associations, based in Upplands Väsby. We believe in relationships, value creation, and engagement – and in people who want to make a difference.

About the Role

As a carpenter and technical property manager at Fenix, you will have a varied role where you combine practical craftsmanship with technical responsibility and close customer contact. You are responsible for a number of properties and serve as a key advisor to boards on technical matters, while also performing or leading smaller construction and maintenance tasks yourself.

The role involves overall responsibility where you, through practical experience, good planning, and a solution-oriented approach, contribute to well-maintained properties and satisfied customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry work, repairs, and minor renovations
  • Plan, coordinate, and follow up on maintenance and renovation projects
  • Conduct property inspections and condition assessments
  • Handle insurance and water damage claims
  • Order and coordinate contractors, and monitor quality and costs
  • Provide technical advice to boards
  • Participate in board meetings and present technical issues
  • Handle fault reports, document, and report on completed work

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience as a carpenter or other relevant construction technical background
  • Experience in service, renovation, or property maintenance
  • Good technical understanding and an interest in property management
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and drive multiple projects simultaneously
  • A professional attitude and experience in customer contact
  • Very good Swedish language skills (written and spoken)
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

Experience in technical property management, project management, or working with housing associations is meritorious but not a requirement.

Personal Qualities

You are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You thrive combining practical work with planning and customer contact, take initiative, and build long-term relationships through a professional and engaged work approach.

What We Offer

  • A personal and family-like company with short decision-making paths
  • A unique role combining craftsmanship with technical property management
  • Varied workdays and significant personal responsibility
  • Opportunity to influence and grow together with the company
  • Competence development and opportunities to grow within project management and technical property management
  • Long-term collaboration for the right person
