About the role

We're looking for someone who loves food, people, and sales, and wants to join our wonderful team at Willys Växjö I11! In short, this role means you'll help our customers shop for great, sustainable food at really good prices.

Type of employment: Permanent full-time position, probation period applies

Start date: 2026-08-17 or as agreed

Working hours: You will work a varied schedule including early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends

Requirements: Completed upper secondary education, good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire individuals under 18 years old due to the nature of the tasks.

A bit more about the role:

• Together with your colleagues, you will manage the varied and physically demanding daily operations of the Fruit & Vegetable Department.
• You are responsible for sales planning, placing orders, and ensuring the department is visually appealing, seasonally relevant, and contributes to the store's sales and profitability targets.
• You greet our customers with knowledge, attentiveness, and a big smile, whether they need help finding a product or checking out.

About you

Willys is constantly growing and developing, and you enjoy doing the same. You love learning new things, thrive on challenges, and are motivated by taking on greater responsibility. You are detail-oriented, reliable, and highly ambitious. It would also be a plus if you:

• Have experience working in a Fruit & Vegetable Department in a store or possess equivalent valuable knowledge, and are ready to take the next step in your career.
• See what needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak multiple languages, so if you do as well, that's a great advantage!
