Do you thrive in a varied physical role and want a job where you get to experience different types of events? If you're a team player, love providing excellent service, and don't mind working when others are off – this could be the perfect role for you!
Currently, the Event Production unit consists of six employees. The team is based at Fyrishov and operates primarily from there. While most assignments take place at Fyrishov, we also handle events at our other venues, such as Studentenas. We have a strong team spirit, and it's important to us that we enjoy working together.
Your Role
As a member of the Event Production unit, you will interact with and provide excellent service to associations, companies, and event organizers in connection with their training sessions, matches, conferences, events, and activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Together with your colleagues, you will plan, execute, and follow up on events in a structured and professional manner. You are collaborative, a true team player, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A key part of the role is creating memorable experiences for our guests, which means we share responsibility for ensuring they feel welcome and receive the support they need through a service-oriented approach. It's therefore important that you are positive, resilient under pressure, flexible, and have a clear sense of responsibility.
Your main tasks will include preparing sports equipment, furniture, and event technical gear. The role also involves setting up and installing event technology, staffing events, as well as dismantling and restoring venues after events conclude.
Working hours are scheduled according to operational needs and opening times, and may include Monday through Sunday, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Your Background
We are looking for you who have a high school diploma and several years of work experience in operational roles involving practical and physical tasks. You thrive in a varied and physically active environment and are motivated by providing excellent service, even when the pace shifts between calm and intense periods. Experience with rigging, event logistics, hospitality, or event management is considered a plus.
You have some knowledge and experience working with sound, lighting, and video equipment, for example by handling simpler technical gear or providing practical support during events. The role does not require deep technical specialist expertise, but you should feel confident using and managing technical equipment in daily work.
To succeed in this role, you must communicate fluently in Swedish and have basic proficiency in English, both spoken and written. A valid B-class driver's license is required.
You are positive, flexible, and resilient under pressure, with a clear focus on service. You take ownership of your tasks, collaborate well with others, and maintain a solution-oriented mindset. You are unpretentious, proactive, and help keep operations running smoothly even when circumstances change quickly.
