Welcome to the small hospital with big opportunities! The Endoscopy/Gastroenterology Clinic is a specialist clinic focused on gastrointestinal diseases. We provide both planned and emergency care. The clinic is also responsible for follow-up, treatment, sampling, 1177 advice, Tele-Q, and counseling for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.

Job Description

Avesta Hospital is looking for a registered nurse for our Endoscopy Clinic. This is a full-time position with daytime hours. We always offer an introduction as needed, as well as competence development in the field. The work is independent but largely involves teamwork with other professional categories.

As a nurse in endoscopy, your tasks include preparing and monitoring patients before, during, and after examinations. You handle and prepare our high-quality medical technology equipment, administer medications, and assist the physician during procedures. The role also includes follow-up, treatment, sampling, 1177 advice, Tele-Q, and counseling for patients with gastrointestinal diseases.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Professional experience in the field

Merits:

• Experience with gastroenterology patients, outpatient clinic operations, or surgery
• Education in gastroenterology and IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease)
