About the role
We are looking for a Communicator with good knowledge of communication tools, media buying, campaign development, internal communication, and brand management for an assignment at Vattenfall.

The responsibilities include ensuring that project communication is coordinated, correct, and clear. As a Communicator, you are also responsible for developing communication plans for major projects and initiatives, developing and implementing overarching communication strategies, and supporting managers in their role as communicative leaders.
You will also serve as a strategic and operational communication support for the management group.

The role also includes the following tasks:

  • Support project managers and leadership with target group analyses (BA/BU, managers, employees) and convey clear messages regarding benefits, decisions, risks, and progress.
  • Ensure that project communication is coordinated, correct, and clear.
  • Define which messages should be communicated through which channels, as well as frequency, tone, and responsibility.
  • Create alignment between leadership, projects, and line organization.
  • Produce and quality-assure communication materials, such as presentation materials for management groups, BA/BU, and Townhalls, message platforms, governing communication, and decision- and information materials (e.g., one-pagers).
  • Contribute to strengthening RE&FM Nordens internal brand within Vattenfall.
  • Ensure that communication reflects professionalism, delivery capability, and clarity in responsibilities and mandates.

Assignment period and scope
The position is a full-time consultancy assignment, starting 2026-08-16 and expected to run until 2027-02-28.

Requirements for the role:

  • Completed upper secondary education.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Documented experience supporting large investments/projects in complex organizations.
  • Understanding of how to translate project progress, risks, decisions, and benefits into BA/BU-adapted communication.
  • Knowledge of social media.
  • Skills in developing communication plans per project/program as well as target-group adapted messages.
  • Experience with matrix organizations, preferably in industry/energy/infrastructure.
  • Very strong in creating presentation materials (management/Townhall PPT), message platforms, one-pagers, and storytelling around “what creates value for BU”.

Preferred qualifications

  • Completed university degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience from industry, energy, infrastructure, or similar operations.
  • Background in management or change leadership.
  • Experience in internal B2B communication (supplier–customer relationship internally).
