As an Operational Buyer, you will be a vital link between operations, suppliers, and the purchasing organization. You will be responsible for supporting operations in daily purchasing activities and ensuring that purchases are carried out efficiently, commercially, and in accordance with current guidelines and processes.
You will join a business where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus. The role offers great variety and many contact points, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the development of both working methods and purchasing processes.
Start: As agreed, as soon as possible
Scope: Full-time until September 30, 2027, with good opportunities for extension.
Location: Stockholm
In this role, you will among other things:
- Be the operational contact person for purchasing-related questions within the operations.
- Support requesters in daily operational purchasing work.
- Ensure that purchases follow internal guidelines, processes, and requirements.
- Be responsible for executing purchases up to 250,000 SEK per purchase instance.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best possible commercial terms.
- Monitor order acknowledgments and follow up on deliveries.
- Handle complaints, warranty cases, and supplier-related deviations.
- Support the review of supplier invoices against contracts and orders.
- Participate in the follow-up and evaluation of supplier performance.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process.
- Relieve project buyers by handling simpler project-related purchases.
- Participate in the implementation of new contracts.
- Participate in training, system tests, and the introduction of changes in business systems.
- Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in operational purchasing work.
- Good familiarity with working in purchasing and business systems.
- Good knowledge of purchasing processes as well as relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience of supplier contacts and negotiations.
- Very good communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
