The specialized palliative care in Dalarna is a county-wide clinic with several multidisciplinary teams covering the entire region. We work with a holistic perspective and strive to create security and good quality of life for patients and their loved ones.

As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by working with specialized palliative care in the patient's home. You will meet patients of different ages and life situations, with varying diagnoses and complex care needs. No two days are alike.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Assess, plan, and follow up on care based on the patient's individual needs and wishes.
• Work with advanced medical technology and nursing care, such as central lines, drains, and medication administration via pump.
• Relieve symptoms and provide support to both patients and their relatives through the different phases of the illness.
• Collaborate closely with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and counselors to create secure, coordinated, and person-centered care.
• Work independently with great freedom and personal responsibility, where you largely plan your working day and spend a significant part of your time on home visits.

On-call duties during the night are included.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse
• Hold a valid B-driver's license

• Experience in palliative care
• Experience working in teams
