At The Place, we are currently looking for an Operational Buyer for a long-term consultancy assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm. The position is full-time, starting on August 17th and running through September 2027.

In this role, you will be a key operational contact within procurement, working closely with the business operations to ensure efficient purchasing, effective delivery follow-up, and compliance with the client's procurement processes and guidelines.

About the Role

As an Operational Buyer, you are responsible for providing operational procurement support and executing purchases. You will work in close collaboration with internal requesters and other procurement functions, contributing to the development of procurement processes and working methods.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Act as the operational contact person for procurement matters
• Support the business in daily operational procurement tasks
• Execute business purchases and negotiate with suppliers within the scope of operational procurement responsibilities
• Ensure that purchases are conducted in accordance with the client's procurement processes and guidelines
• Follow up on order acknowledgments and deliveries, and handle complaints, warranty cases, and disputes
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process and operational procurement work
• Participate in the implementation of new contracts, as well as testing and introducing changes in business systems

Who We Are Looking For

• Relevant education in procurement, logistics, or a similar field
• Several years of experience in operational procurement
• Experience working in procurement and business systems
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, relevant legislation, and standards
• Experience in supplier relations and negotiations
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
