Are you a nurse looking for a job that is fun, varied, and developmental? Then the Intermediate Care Unit (IMA) at Sundsvall Hospital might be what you are looking for!

Intermediate care (IMA) is a form of care between intensive care and a regular ward, where patients with failing vital functions are monitored and treated. The unit is an integrated part of the ICU, where you and an experienced ICU assistant nurse work together and are responsible for two patients in close collaboration with anesthesiologists and other ICU staff.

We are now looking for four nurses for the IMA. The positions are permanent, full-time, with start dates to be agreed upon.

The work may suit you if you are considering further education, as you will take on more advanced tasks and get a glimpse into intensive care. The role suits you if you are engaged, positive, and interested in more advanced and technical healthcare. Among other things, you will work with:

• Care and monitoring of patients at risk of organ failure or with failure in individual organ systems.
• Teamwork with highly competent colleagues and more advanced tasks where you are responsible for two patients.
• The work is varied and is carried out in close collaboration with intensive care nurses, assistant nurses, specialist assistant nurses, doctors, and physiotherapists.

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Have experience of hospital care

• Personal maturity
• Self-motivated
• Good judgment
• Ability to collaborate
