About the Department
Do you want to contribute your speech-language pathology expertise to the work with children and young people experiencing mental health issues and neuropsychiatric conditions? Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) is now looking for a licensed speech-language pathologist who wants to be part of a multidisciplinary team where the needs of the child and family are at the center.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a specialist service for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health issues. We work with assessment, investigation, and treatment in close collaboration with the child, guardians, and other key actors such as schools, social services, habilitation services, and primary care.
Our operations currently consist of five outpatient clinics distributed across the county, as well as an inpatient ward including an acute team, an Eating Disorders Unit, a Family Therapy Unit, and "En väg in" (A Way In).
Here, you work in a team together with, for example, doctors, psychologists, counselors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals. The way of working is characterized by a holistic perspective, collaboration, and shared responsibility to provide children, young people, and families with the right support and interventions. The role of Speech-Language Pathologist at CAP involves working across all operations based on need.
We offer meaningful and developmental work where you have the opportunity to make a difference for children, young people, and their families. You will become part of a high-competence operation with multidisciplinary collaboration and a focus on development, quality, and a good work environment.
Here, you have the opportunity for introduction, collegial support, and competence development based on the operation's needs and your experience.
