About the Operations

Primary Healthcare Area West has operations in internal medicine, both inpatient and outpatient care. The medical services at Primary Healthcare Area West include planned clinics for General Surgery (GS), General Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Neurology, and Nephrology. In Sollefteå, there are opportunities to work within all specialties, but there is currently a particular need for competence in Neurology, Endocrinology, and Gastroenterology, as well as General Internal Medicine.

We are now looking for a Consultant Physician (Overläkare) with specialist competence in Endocrinology for the medical clinic and emergency department in Sollefteå. The position is a fixed-term appointment for 6 months, with a possibility of extension. Start date: 2026-08-31.

Responsibilities

• Ward duties
• Clinic duties
• Day-on-call / On-call duties
• Clinical supervision of our trainee physicians, at both the AT/BT and ST levels

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physician with specialist competence in Endocrinology or Internal Medicine
• Has a valid B-class driver's license
