> Our inpatient orthopedic care is divided into two wards: Ward 17, which admits acute orthopedic patients, and Ward 18, which focuses on elective orthopedics with pre- and postoperative care. You will meet patients with fractures, arthritis, and other diagnoses within the musculoskeletal system. The pace varies, contributing to a dynamic and stimulating work climate. Here, nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, and doctors work closely together to create safe and high-quality care.

As a nurse with us, you will work with pre- and postoperative care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Overall responsibility for the patient during their stay
• Wound care, pain relief, and mobilization
• Preparation for surgery and follow-up after the procedure
• Medication management
• Patient safety, documentation, and development work in daily practice
• Interprofessional collaboration with assistant nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, etc., as well as with other care units

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Good documentation skills
