Are you a responsible C-class driver who thrives in independent and physically demanding work? We are currently recruiting, on behalf of SSAM, a sludge truck driver for a temporary position of approximately one year in Lessebo. Introduction and training begin in week 34 prior to the start of the assignment.

As a sludge truck driver for SSAM, you are responsible for the collection and transport of sludge in Lessebo and Tingsryd municipalities. The work is varied and involves planning and carrying out your tasks independently while collaborating closely with your colleagues. You perform daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle, superstructure, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

In this role, you have daily contact with customers and serve as an important representative for SSAM. Therefore, it is important that you have a professional and service-oriented attitude and enjoy building good customer relationships. You also report any deviations and contribute to maintaining high quality in operations.

To ensure a secure start in the role, you will begin in week 34 with introduction and training alongside an experienced driver. The temporary position starts in week 36 and initially runs for approximately one year.

The employment begins with a temporary assignment via StudentConsulting for the first three months. If the collaboration goes well, the employment then transitions to a direct temporary contract with SSAM for the remainder of the period, with the possibility of extension.

As part of the recruitment process, you will complete the ADEPT-15 personality test. Your application will only be considered complete once this test has been taken. Alcohol and drug testing are also included in the recruitment process.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with a C driving license, a valid YKB (professional driving qualification), and training for tail-lift operations. You have experience driving trucks and feel confident behind the wheel, preferably also on smaller roads. Since the work is physically demanding, we expect you to be in good physical shape and enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions. You also have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and self-motivated. You enjoy planning your own work, take initiative, and have a strong focus on safety. At the same time, you are service-oriented and easily build trust in interactions with customers and colleagues.
