If needed, we will train you when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training takes place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality manager.

Job Description

You will work at Värta Port, which will also be your base of operations. The working hours are currently 100% with a weekly working time of 36 hours. The shift pattern involves working during both daytime and nights/weekends according to a rotating schedule. Your main tasks consist of sampling various fuel materials and related administration, as well as other common duties at the measuring station, such as keeping our sampling areas clean and tidy. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and maintain ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. You will work largely independently, so it is required that you are self-reliant and driven to solve your tasks. The work should be carried out in line with our values, meaning in a reliable, impartial, and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working with physical tasks and digital systems, and you must be able to communicate clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A prerequisite for the position is that you have a Category B driver's license and access to your own car.

Desirable/Qualifications

Forestry knowledge and experience in timber measurement are considered advantageous, as is the ability to communicate in English, but these are not requirements.
