About the role
Do you want to help shape the working methods of the future in a global industrial conglomerate?
We are now looking for a Process Automation Developer for an international industrial company, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with both the business operations and technical development within automation and digitalization. This role is suitable for you who have a few years of experience with workflow, BPMS, or process automation and want to take the next step towards a more technically leading role.
You will work on designing and developing business processes that help the business operate smarter, faster, and more structured. At the same time, you will become part of an exciting initiative within automation, AI, and the digital working methods of the future.
This is not a traditional developer role. The focus is on understanding business processes, challenging requirements, and translating needs into sustainable solutions using modern BPMS and low-code platforms.
What we offer
- Be part of building the next generation of automation teams
- Work with modern BPMS, low-code, and AI technologies
- Have significant influence over solutions, working methods, and processes
- Collaborate closely with business operations, architects, and technical specialists
- Opportunity to grow into a technical lead role over time
- Contribute to automation and digitalization in a global organization
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will among other things:
- Work closely with the business to understand, map, and improve business processes
- Participate in workshops together with stakeholders and delivery leads
- Design and implement end-to-end business processes in a BPMS platform
- Build forms, workflow logic, and business rules
- Work with integrations and API-based solutions
- Ensure solutions are built scalable, sustainable, and according to established standards
- Contribute with technical holistic thinking and challenge existing working methods
- Explore how AI agents and new technology can be integrated into future process solutions
Your profile
We believe you have a few years of experience within BPMS, workflow, or process automation and that you have worked on developing business processes in close collaboration with the business.
You enjoy understanding how the business operates and how processes can be improved, simplified, and automated using technology. You are comfortable in dialogue with both users, business operations, and technical teams, and have an interest in how solutions are designed in a sustainable way over time.
As a person, you are proactive and enjoy taking responsibility for your work. You are curious, ask questions, and want to understand both the business needs and the technical consequences of different solutions. You are comfortable coming up with your own ideas, challenging requirements when necessary, and contributing to finding long-term sustainable solutions. At the same time, you are unpretentious and thrive on collaborating with others to achieve the best possible results.
We believe you have experience with:
- BPMS, workflow, or process automation platforms such as Decisions, Camunda, Pega, Nintex, or similar
- Designing, configuring, or further developing business processes and workflows
- Working with forms, workflow logic, business rules, or similar functionality in a process platform
- Process mapping, requirement dialogues, and business-close work
- Integrations, APIs, and databases
- Agile development environments
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- BPMN, process modeling, or end-to-end process design
- AI, low-code platforms, or process automation in larger organizations
- Taking technical responsibility for solutions or acting as a technical guide in projects
