About the role

As an employee, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a retail sales assistant for our Plumbing (VVS) department.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the product range within the Plumbing department
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring of the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Be helpful on other departments when needed

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience/education within Plumbing (VVS)
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Good physical condition as some departments require lifting heavier items
• Meritorious if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4)

Working hours/Duration: Permanent. Part-time. 5 hours/week (10 hours/alternate weekends).

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
