Do you want to work at a clinic with dedicated, experienced, and well-trained staff, a good atmosphere, and opportunities for development? The work at the clinic is varied and characterized by collaboration in interdisciplinary teams consisting of occupational therapists, counselors, doctors, psychologists, nurses, and assistant nurses.

We are now looking for a specialist doctor in psychiatry for our clinic. There are four other specialist doctors at the clinic, all with extensive experience in psychiatry. We regularly receive resident doctors both within psychiatry and those bordering on other specialties. Currently, we also have a junior doctor on a long-term substitute position at the clinic.

There is close collaboration with care wards at our clinic, including regarding self-selected admissions for patients with emotional instability.

Specialist Psychiatric Clinic 3 is a unit with just over 20 employees. It is located in Alvik, together with three other general psychiatric clinics with different focuses regarding specialized competence.

For those not living in Stockholm and the surrounding area, Alvik in Bromma is as close to the city center as you can get. The transport connections are good; the subway, tram, and bus are located approximately 100 meters from the clinic.

As a doctor, you will participate continuously in the clinic's development work alongside your clinical duties. The workplace is open and receptive to ideas for potential changes.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

  • are a licensed doctor with specialist competence in psychiatry.
  • have experience with personality assessments
  • value the social work environment and having fun at work
  • have knowledge of and preferably experience with neuropsychiatric assessments
  • are interested in evaluation and evidence-based treatment.
  • find continuous development of organization and working methods stimulating.

Conditions

Full-time, permanent. Start date according to agreement.

The position will be filled on the condition that it does not need to be reserved for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
