Workplace Description
At the Police's IT Department, over 1,400 employees work to develop, manage, and ensure the operational security of the agency's consolidated IT systems and infrastructure. The department's administration is responsible for strategic IT planning, steering, follow-up, finance, and HR issues, serving as close support to managers. This role falls under the group within the administration responsible for operational unit support, handling cases and card administration. The group also coordinates the department's consultation responses and is responsible for issues regarding premises and working environment.

Job Description
As the Project Manager for IT and Premises, you will function as a central coordinating role and collaborate closely with business representatives, managers, support functions, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders. Your tasks include, for example:
- Project management in connection with establishment and move-in to new premises
- Identify project goals, schedules, and activities, and follow up on these
- Work on identifying and implementing possible new strategic establishment locations
- Coordinate and analyze needs and possible solutions regarding premises, together with colleagues in various areas of expertise
- Communicate with various stakeholders within the department and with other functions within the agency, e.g., the premises supply unit, the security department
- Coordinate various efforts regarding premises issues within the department and coordinate
- Environmental scanning and strategic planning for premises issues in the long term
You will sometimes have short-term perspectives where daily operations can change rapidly in close collaboration with your group manager, while in other matters you will have a long-term perspective. The work also includes operational leadership of the project participants, follow-up and reporting, distribution and prioritization of resources and work, as well as dialogue with and coordination of clients, users, and other stakeholders. The role often requires knowledge of, for example, different types of project management models.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in project management or equivalent acquired experience assessed by the Swedish Police Authority as equivalent
- Work experience in working with premises issues that the Swedish Police Authority assesses as relevant
- Several years of project management experience that the Swedish Police Authority assesses as relevant, preferably within the current business area
- Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish
- Swedish citizenship
Meritorious
- Work experience in planning, leading, and coordinating business changes
- Experience from working with risk management and risk assessment
- Experience of working in the public sector
- Experience of premises issues within IT operations
- Experience of communicating with many stakeholders in a complex organization
