Who are we?

NP-center is a municipality-wide operation within the social services department, offering support to young people aged 13 to 23 with neuropsychiatric conditions and their families. Our mission is to strengthen the young people's participation and independence in daily life, providing support based on their current living situation and preparing them for the future.

The support is tailored to each young person's needs and is provided in the environments where they spend their time, such as at home, at school, and during leisure activities. Through an interprofessional approach, we offer coordinated interventions that create long-term conditions for development and increased independence.

NP-center is now looking for two new colleagues who want to become part of the team!

Your responsibilities

As a social secretary at NP-center, you work as a provider, offering individually adapted support to young people with neuropsychiatric conditions and their families. Through close, relationship-building work, you contribute to strengthening the young people's participation, independence, and ability to handle daily challenges.

You plan, implement, and follow up on support measures based on each young person's needs and goals. The work takes place in the environments where the young person is located, for example at home, at school, and during leisure time. Together with the young person and their family, you work towards set goals and adapt the measures as needs change over time.

An important part of the assignment is to collaborate with young people, guardians, and other actors, such as schools, social services, and healthcare, to create coordinated support around the young person. You are part of an interprofessional team where different competencies complement each other and contribute to the joint development of the operation.

Documentation is an important part of the work, and you are responsible for documenting, following up, and quality-assuring the interventions carried out.

With us, you will have a varied and developmental assignment where you combine direct work with young people and families with collaboration, network work, and the development of operational methods. Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work, a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social pedagogy, or other education combined with 7.5 credits in social law, which the employer assesses as equivalent. We would like you to have experience in social work. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are sensitive and empathetic and have a professional approach when meeting with young people, families, colleagues, and partners. You build trusting relationships and adapt your communication based on the recipient's needs.

You have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work and can make well-founded decisions based on available information. You take responsibility for your decisions and work structured even when the workload varies.

We also value that you have good self-awareness, are secure in your professional role, and contribute to a positive work climate through a respectful and solution-oriented approach.
