Personal Assistant for a Woman with a Neurological Condition

Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance for individuals with disabilities who have been granted assistance under LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) or SFB (Swedish Social Insurance Board regulations). As one of our wonderful assistants will be moving to part-time retirement from the autumn, a schedule covering 65% of a full-time position will become vacant. Additionally, there are opportunities to step in when regular assistants are on sick leave or vacation.

Job Description

You will be working for a woman with a neurological condition who needs help with most aspects of her daily life. This includes, but is not limited to, mobility assistance, personal hygiene, cooking, exercise, household management, and participation in various activities.

Working hours consist of both short and long day shifts (08:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00, or 08:00-22:00). Part of the time is scheduled for double assistance. The client specifically requests female assistants for her team.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience as a personal assistant or within the healthcare sector is an advantage, but the greatest emphasis will be placed on personal compatibility. Since the client has her own car, a valid driver's license is highly desirable.

There is sometimes a dog in the house, so applicants must not be allergic to dogs or afraid of them.
