We are now looking for a Night Receptionist at Scandic Örebro Väst.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the hub that keeps the guest at the center of everything. You review the arrival list, paying attention to the details, and ensure guest requests are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution up your sleeve. You handle most situations and are a star at turning dissatisfied guests into satisfied ones. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. The role also includes administrative work, security tasks, and sales activities.

The work at the reception involves checking guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing them with the information they need for their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is focused on guest satisfaction and sales.

This position is night-shift based, so you must be able to handle various situations independently and feel secure in a solo role.

Who are you?

To fit this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling multiple things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey excellent hospitality to our guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in using computers as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good proficiency in Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an advantage.

Above all, your personal qualities and attitude are key. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and egoless team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall results.

You must also be able to work independently, as you will be largely alone in the hotel during night shifts. Taking personal responsibility for both the hotel and your tasks is therefore incredibly important.

Information about the position

This is a permanent, full-time position.

We offer a probationary period. The work involves night shifts, weekdays, and weekends. The start date is early September, with on-site training provided beforehand. The position can be filled earlier.
