Spanjoren is a modern Spanish restaurant and cocktail bar where food, drinks, and festivities meet in a unique atmosphere. We are now looking for an experienced bartender with advanced expertise in mixology who wants to help develop our bar and create memorable experiences for our guests.

About the role

As a bartender with us, you will:

• Create and serve top-quality cocktails.
• Help develop new drink concepts and seasonal menus.
• Be responsible for mise en place, quality, and presentation.
• Work with premium spirits, wine, and modern bartending techniques.
• Contribute to an energetic and professional guest experience.
• Educate and inspire other staff members regarding beverages and service.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3–5 years of experience working in a cocktail bar or restaurant bar.
• Documented knowledge in mixology.
• Experience with both classic and modern cocktails.
• Good knowledge of spirits, flavors, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
• Experience in menu development is a plus.
• High work ethic, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at a fast pace without compromising on quality.

Additional advantages:

• Experience from hotel bars, fine dining, or award-winning cocktail bars.
• Knowledge in fermentation, barrel aging, infusions, or molecular mixology.
• WSET, BarSmarts, or other relevant beverage training.
• Experience leading or training other bartenders.

Employment type: Full-time, salary according to agreement.
